My Thoughts on Warframe: The Sacrifice

 
Hello, Cyberninjas! I'm here once again to talk about the awesome gamne known as Warframe. I think I talked about this game a year ago, the subject then was The Plains of Eidolon update and Excalibur Umbra but I didn't really discuss the quest that he will be packaged with, which will be Warframes newest cinematic quest, The Sacrifice.

Recently, and we're talking this week recently, Warframes youtube channel had quietly released a trailer that created hype for those [im]patiently waiting for this update. For anyone who isn't a Warframe player or hasn't progressed enough through the quests to know the whole story, the trailer created a sense of mystery and possibly confusion. It doesn't spoil anything necessarily, it just shows snippets of the quests required to even play The Sacrifice with veteran Warframe players being badass. I, for one, am very hyped for this quest to FINALLY be playable.



Other than Excalibur Umbra, the quest poses many questions for the fans that will be answered, like what the warframes really are, what role Ballas, the creator of the warframes and the overseer of the transference project that is responsible for Tenno to be able to control the warframes, has in all of this and whether he's on our side, or not. For one, that guy came outta nowhere! No one, and I mean no one thought he was still alive and kicking while we were running around the origin system carrying out Lotus' missions to maintain balance in the system. There's alo questions of what exactly will we be sacrificing, what part Excalibur Umbra has to play in all of this, is he a rouge warframe we have to get back under our control? Is it Ballas's warframe? We have so many questions and little to no answers!

There's really not much information to create any solid theories, and I think that's a good thing. I think this content update will be great and will create a lot of good reactions as well as discussions from it. Once The Sacrifice comes to consoles, (Read - I am a console Tennoand must suffer the unfortunate thing of having to wait just a bit longer before I can play it.) You know I'll be playing it. But for those Tenno on PC, you'll be able to enjoy The Sacrifice this month!
